Aarushi murder case: Krishna subjected to narco test

The focus on sensational Aarushi murder case shifted to Bangalore yesterday with Rajesh Talwar’s compounder Krishna subjected to narco analysis test at the Bowring Hospital in the City yesterday.

Krishna, who was brought to Bangalore by the CBI on Wednesday, underwent a brain-mapping test and polygraph test at the Forensic Sciences Laboratory on the outskirts of the City the same evening.

Later, he was shifted to Bowring Hospital in the heart of Bangalore, where a narco analysis test was conducted on him.

Though Bowring Hospital’s Medical Officer Rajanna confirmed that scientific tests had been performed on Krishna, he refused to divulge the details. “As the case is being investigated by the CBI, we will not be able to reveal much on the tests and Krishna’s responses during the tests. A detailed report will be prepared by the Forensic Sciences Laboratory on the basis of the tests and submitted to the CBI”, he added.

CBI has decided to conduct scientific tests on Krishna to solve the mysterious double murder of Talwar’s 14-year-old daughter Aarushi and domestic help Hemraj on May 16 in Noida.

Krishna, the compounder of Aarushi’s father Rajesh Talwar has emerged as a suspect after CBI took over the case from Noida police following allegations of sloppy investigation.

Before being brought to Bangalore, the CBI subjected Krishna to three lie detector tests But, dissatisfied with his evasive replies, the investigating agency decided to fly him down to Bangalore and subject him to a narco analysis test.

The complicated murder mystery of Aarushi and Hemraj has gripped the attention of the country, particularly after Aarushi’s father Rajesh Talwar was arrested by the police. The investigating agencies are pinning a lot of hope on the outcome of the narco analysis tests so that they get clues to crack the double murder case.
